A rigid medical pendant groups medical gas outlets, power sockets, data points and equipment carriers into a single ceiling-mounted unit that keeps the floor around the patient free of cables and hoses. A rigid pendant provides a fixed, defined service position above the work area and suits spaces that do not require frequent repositioning of services.
What is it?
Pendant configuration is defined by room type, gas count, electrical load requirements and the equipment payload to be carried, taking ceiling height and above-ceiling service routing into account. Gas supply comes from the medical pipeline and pendant outlets are verified within the handover test package.
