Degreased Medical Copper Tube
Degreased Medical Copper Tube
Medical copper tube is the primary conveying element of a medical gas pipeline. It is supplied degreased and capped so its internal cleanliness is preserved until installation, because any internal contamination travels directly to the patient terminal.

What is it?
Tube sizes are selected from flow and pressure-drop calculations for each gas and each branch. Joints are brazed under an inert gas purge to prevent internal oxidation, with supports, fixing intervals and protection at zone transitions. Material cleanliness and traceability are documented in the project file prior to testing and commissioning.

Frequently asked questions
Why is ordinary plumbing copper not used?
Because medical tube is produced, cleaned and packaged so its internal surface is free of oils and particulates. Using non-dedicated tube introduces contaminants into a gas path connected directly to the patient.
