MILS AIRMIL’S Technical Air Plant
Technical air is non-medical compressed air serving support equipment inside the hospital. It is kept separate from the medical air pipeline so that the medical load is not affected by other operational demands. AIRMIL’S is the MILS technical air plant family.
What is it?
The plant is packaged from one or more compressors, an air receiver, treatment suited to technical duty and a control panel. Oil-free piston compressors are also available for small or intermittent loads. Sizing is based on the list of served equipment and how simultaneously it runs.

Can support equipment be fed from the medical air pipeline?
It is not advisable: medical air is dedicated to patient care and any additional load can affect pressure stability and purity. Support services are separated onto an independent technical air network.
