A domestic detector is designed for installation in residential units and small kitchens. It gives an early local alarm on gas leakage and can be interlocked with a solenoid shut-off valve for a higher level of protection.
What is it?
It is mounted near floor level in the kitchen because LPG is heavier than air, away from direct air currents and heavy cooking vapours that could cause false alarms. Periodic testing confirms alarm operation and sensor integrity.
