MILS PRO2XY Medical Oxygen Generator
MILS PRO2XY Medical Oxygen Generator
PRO2XY is the MILS medical oxygen generator family. It produces oxygen on the facility site from ambient air using pressure swing adsorption, at the Oxygen 93 concentration recognised in the pharmacopoeias.
What is it?
The system comprises a treated compressed-air source, adsorption towers with molecular sieve, an oxygen receiver, continuous purity analysis and a reserve source (cylinders or a liquid tank) to guarantee continuity of supply. A VPSA version is available for larger capacities, together with cabin or container solutions split into air and oxygen compartments.
Features
- Available configurations: PRO2XY, PRO2XY VAC (VPSA) and cabin or container solutions
- On-site medical oxygen production at Oxygen 93 concentration
- Dedicated feed-air unit for the generator (HOSPITAIR PACK S / G S)
- Continuous purity analysis with alarm signalling
- Reserve source guaranteeing continuity of supply
- Products from this brand are available according to project requirements and availability.
Applications
- Hospitals and medical complexes
- Operating theatres and intensive care units
- Emergency and inpatient departments
- Day-surgery centres and clinics
- Laboratories and supporting medical applications
- Expansion projects and plant-room refurbishment

Frequently asked questions
Does the generator remove the need for a reserve source?
No. Medical gas standards require an independent reserve source that operates automatically if the generator stops or purity falls, typically a cylinder manifold or a liquid oxygen tank.
What does Oxygen 93 mean?
It is adsorption-produced oxygen at a nominal 93% ± 3% concentration, listed in the pharmacopoeias as a product distinct from 99.5% medical oxygen made by cryogenic distillation.
