MILS LABOVAC Laboratory Vacuum System
MILS LABOVAC Laboratory Vacuum System
A laboratory vacuum network differs from a medical vacuum network in what it handles: it is exposed to vapours and solvents, so it is executed as an independent system with chemically resistant components. LABOVAC is the MILS family for this duty.

What is it?
The system is packaged from pumps suited to laboratory duty, vapour and liquid separators, a receiver and filters, and a control panel. A CRYOLIS version is also available for applications needing broader vapour and liquid separation. Selection depends on the substances used in the laboratory and the number of suction points.
Features
- Available configurations: LABOVAC 1/2 and CRYOLIS 1/2
- Components resistant to the chemicals used in the laboratory
- Vapour and liquid separation upstream of the pump
- Network independent from the medical vacuum system
- Products from this brand are available according to project requirements and availability.
Applications
- Hospital laboratories
- Medical analysis laboratories
- Research and university laboratories
- Quality-control laboratories
- Histology and pathology laboratories
- New laboratory fit-out projects

Frequently asked questions
Why is the laboratory network separated from medical vacuum?
Because the vapours and solvents drawn in a laboratory can damage medical vacuum components and affect performance, and because cleanliness and continuity requirements differ between the two duties.
