CMS Medical Gas Manifold
CMS Medical Gas Manifold
A manifold is the cylinder-based gas source in a healthcare facility, used as the primary source for lower-consumption gases or as the reserve for a liquid oxygen tank or generator. CMS produces a manifold family with different operating configurations.
What is it?
The manifold comprises a duty bank and a reserve bank, cylinder tail connections, regulators reducing to pipeline pressure, non-return and over-pressure protection, and status signals wired to the alarm panel. Cylinder connections are available to different standards — British Standard, CGA or bullnose — depending on the cylinders used on site.
Features
- Available configurations: automatic manifold, manual manifold, emergency standby manifold (ESM) and a high-flow version
