Flexible stainless steel pipe is used for appliance connections and where the route requires flexibility or must absorb limited movement, while retaining high strength and corrosion resistance.
What is it?
It is used within the approved design limits for length, bend radius and number of joints, and is not a permanent substitute for rigid pipe on main routes. It should remain visible or in an inspectable route, and its connections checked periodically within the maintenance programme.
